Vintage French opalescent glass ceiling light shade wavy coolie + fittings

An original vintage French wavy coolie shade made from a clear opalescent glass, probably dating from the 1950s, which we have completed with an antiqued brass gallery and new brass bulbholder.   Electric cable is not included, but is available separately in our store.  The glass is very beautiful, clear but with an iridescent hue when the light catches it.  The shape from above is round and floral - it's a truly lovely piece.  

We search antiques fairs and shops in France to source these and similar shades.  We think they would look absolutely beautiful in just about any room, and also in a shop or café.  

In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks but please note that minor imperfections are inevitable with items of this age and which have been manufactured in small batches with a lot of hand finishing.  

Measures approx. 25.5cm diameter x 7cm max height.  Bulbholder is a B22 bayonet fitting.  Electric flex and bulb are not included - this listing is for the shade, the brass gallery and the bulbholder.  We also stock a range of vintage and new ceramic ceiling roses, which would complement these shades beautifully.
