Vintage French frosted glass wavy pleated light shade ceiling + fittings

A very lovely original French coolie light shade with a quilted frosted glass on top and a pleated edge. We have completed it with an antiqued brass gallery and brass bulb holder.   We search antiques fairs and shops in France to source these and similar shades, which are becoming increasingly difficult to find.  It's hard to date them exactly, but we think they were probably produced between the 1920s to 1950s.  We think they would look absolutely beautiful in just about any room, and also in a shop or café. 

In very good condition, but please note that minor imperfections are inevitable with items of this age and that practically all the shades of this age have nibbles around the rim and the odd tiny chip round the extreme points. Manufacturing was not 'perfect' back then, and so items can have flaws which include bubbles, black marks (from firing) and wobbles in the glass. To us, this adds the charm, but if you would prefer the shade to be blemish free, then this may not be the choice for you. 

Measures approx. 26cm diameter x 8cm max height.  The neck is approx 5.5cm across.  Bulbholder is bayonet fitting.  Electric flex is not included.  Where we have more than one available, please note they will not always be identical.  They may also differ slightly from the picture.
