Vintage French frosted glass frilly coolie light shade gold + brass fittings

A very lovely original French frosted glass frilly coolie ceiling light shade in a pale golden colour.  Probably made in the 1950s, we have completed it with a vintage brass gallery and new brass bulbholder.  Electric flex is available separately in our ebay store.  Please note that the gallery may differ slightly from that shown.

We search antiques fairs and shops in France to source these and similar shades.  We think they would look absolutely beautiful in just about any room, and also in a shop or café.  

In very good condition, with no chips or cracks but please note that minor imperfections are inevitable with items of this age and which have been manufactured in small batches with a lot of hand finishing.  The vast majority of these ceiling shades also have nibbles around the top of the neck where the gallery is fixed, but these cannot be seen when it's in place.

Measures approx. 28cm diameter x 9cm max height.  Bulbholder is bayonet fitting.
