Vintage French frosted glass frilly coolie light shade blue & brass fittings C

A very lovely original French frosted glass frilly coolie ceiling light shade with a blue edging.  Probably made in the 1950s, we have completed with an antiqued brass gallery and new brass bulbholder.  Vintage style electric flex is available separately in our ebay store, along with porcelain ceiling roses for the final flourish.

We search antiques fairs and shops in France to source these and similar shades.  We think they would look absolutely beautiful in just about any room, and also in a shop or café.  

In good condition, with no chips or cracks.  At some point in its manufacture it acquired two small flaws:  a fleck of blue glass where it shouldn't be and a little blob of glass which has glued itself to the inside (pictured).  The vast majority of these shades also have nibbles around the top of the neck where the gallery is fixed, but these cannot be seen when it's in place.

Measures approx. 26cm diameter x 10cm max height.  Bulbholder is bayonet fitting.  Electric flex and bulb are not included - this listing is for the shade, the brass gallery and the bulbholder.
