Very small vintage French opaline glass coolie light shade ceiling + fittings

A very small old French coolie light shade in thick white opaline glass, probably dating from the 1920s.  A rare find, which we have completed with an antiqued brass gallery and brass bulb holder.  Electric flex is available separately in our store, along with period style porcelain ceiling roses.   This shade would work well as a hanging spotlight over a work counter or in an office, lobby or café.  Measures 16.5cm diameter.

We source shades regularly from France, and have a wide variety in our store.  We also stock UK made electric cable and bulb holders which we have chosen specially to complement the beautiful old shades that we buy.  Many of these shades were hand made, and some of them date back to the earliest days of electric lighting in the 1900s.  As such, please expect manufacturing 'flaws', such as bubbles and black flecks from the firing, plus the odd nibble and chip around the rim of the neck which don't show when the gallery is sitting on it.
