Smaller vintage French opaline glass coolie light shade ceiling + fittings 22cm

A beautiful French opaline glass coolie light shade which, at 22.5cm, is slightly smaller than the usual size.  A vintage original, which we have completed with a brass gallery and brass bulb fitting.  The electric cable is not included, but is available separately in our store.  These period vintage shades were originally hung from high ceilings in old kitchens and parlours in France, sometimes on the end of rise and fall suspensions.  Typically French, they look gorgeous in any room.  We currently have two of these, and they match up very well as a pair. 

The bulbholder is bayonet fitting. Along with the cable, we also have a selection of vintage style ceramic ceiling roses for sale separately, to add an authentic finish.  The bulb is not included.

As these are original items from an era when such things were not mass produced in single factories, please expect slight flaws and imperfections, as well as differences between the shades.
