Designed in the 1920s by a Mr Jean Chavanis in Lyon, France, the designs of the Pirouett desk lamps were inspired by the contemporary ideals of the Art Deco movement for objects combining beauty, ergonomics and usefulness. The arm of this little model swivels around 90 degrees, and the head itself is articulated so the light can be angled up and down to where it's needed most. In very good condition, with very little pitting to the chrome finish. As well as a complete re-wire with new UK made twisted fabric flex and a black 3-pin plug, we have added new green baize to the underside of the base.
