A pair of absolutely stunning French glass light shades signed by renowned glassmakers Muller Frères, Luneville, and probably dating from the company's heyday at the height of the Art Deco period in the late 1920s to early 30s With sculpted relief in a geometric floral design, the colour is pale pink to peach. Having an unusual neck size, these probably originally came from a large chandelier, and a previous owner made their own metal galleries to fit them. We have retained these and added a base, so they can be used as table or bedside lamps. We have wired them to a new UK made brass bulbholder and added new UK made 3-core vintage -style fabric twisted cable in dark brown with an inline switch and 3-pin UK plug. Each lamp measures approx 24cm high. The shades themselves measure approx 19.5cm high and 20cm wide. The cable measures approx 1m45 long. One shade has a very small surface chip, pictured, around 3mm across. Otherwise, condition is very good.
