An original vintage atomic style mid-century set of of coat hooks. With six coloured wooden balls in red, yellow and two shades of green on a black metal tree-like branched frame, this was sourced in France and we assume that's where it was made. Probably from the 1950s or 60s, it's a classic space-age retro style, from the same era as the zig-zag wall hooks which were so popular over here at that time. A fabulous and original item for any hallway, bedroom or bathroom. The condition is fair, with some fading of the colours as well as paint loss on the baubles - see pictures. The whole piece could be revived with new paint if desired, although we rather like that it's showing its age. The pegs measure 40cm maximum height and 36cm maximum width. The depth is approx 7cm. The picture shows it holding a women's denim jacket. The weight is 930g, and there are two holes for mounting it to the wall.
