Designed by Marco Colombo and Mario Barbaglia in 1984, this extremely stylish desk lamp was produced by the PAF studio in Milan in the 1980s and 90s. The long, flat arm moves up and down and the head is adjustable, along with the built-in switch which offers two levels of brightness. This model was produced in several colours, but this one is in black (officially called Anthracite), and has a heavy round polycarbonate base which contains a 12 to 6-volt transformer. The flat arm is held with two steel rods, and the head contains an aluminium reflector. The light works for an office or living area, and also as a floor lamp. Fully extended, the height is approx 82cm. In the horizontal position, is it approx 29cm. The base is 12cm diameter. The electric flex measures approx 2m long, and has a 2-pin European plug and an adaptor for using in the UK. We are PAT testing qualified and have passed it for safety. The bulb is supplied, and replacements are max. 50W Halogen QT12 or similar.
