Fabulous vintage 1950s tin toy kitchen made in France by Atmega. With a double oven, three hobs, sliding door cupboards above and below and a retro 'Babyfroid' fridge. Through the window is a painted scene of a husband returning from work in his suit, tie and hat, having just parked his stylish 1950s saloon car. A little slice of social history in tin! Condition is as you see in the photos, ie play worn. Someone has repainted some of the splashback and the yellow walls; the top cupboard is taped into place, having come adrift from its fixings; the same cupboard has splits in the plastic which have been repaired with tape; one of the plastic drawers of the wall cupboard is missing; one of the oven doors is glued shut. Despite this, it still makes a wonderful display piece. Quite large, it measures 58cm long and 30.5cm high. The maximum depth is 15cm.
