An antique plaque from Montmartre cathedral in Paris, probably dating back to the 1900s. Made from toleware, or tin, it was most likely a souvenir devotional object. The text around the edge translates as 'Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Have Mercy on Us'. Measures 20cm wide and high.
