An old French rise & fall lighting pulley for ceiling lights and chandeliers, measuring 12cm high and 6cm wide. Made of cast iron, it's beautifully decorated and the chain extends and retracts. A rare component of antique period lighting. Sourced in France, and probably dating from the 1900s.
