Sourced in the borders of the Cognac/Bordeaux vineyards in France, this beautiful antique pot-bellied copper watering can probably dates from the early 19th century. Entirely hand-made from beaten copper and with dovetailed jointing, it also has its original rose. It still holds water, and can be used for its original purpose, or as a very charming decorative piece. The can measures approx 56cm from the tip of the handles to the end of the rose, 37cm high to the top of the handle and 43cm to the top of the rose. The middle width is approx 25cm. The bottom diameter is 21cm. It weighs 2.04kg.
