A beautiful old glass pharmacy jar from France, with a gold label for Ecorce de Winter, a powder from the wintera aromatic plant used to relieve colic and other digestive ailments. With a green painted metal lid trimmed in gold, the jar itself has the pontil mark at the bottom to indicate it was hand blown. The jar measures approx 21cm high and 9cm diameter.
