Vintage French marbled glass frilly coolie light shade blue + white + fittings

Extremely unusual, this beautiful handmade vintage French marbled glass frilly coolie ceiling light shade has two colours: white in the centre and pale blue around the edge.  The surface of the glass is ribbed, too.  We've been buying these shades for over 20 years, and have never seen one like it before.  We have completed it with an antiqued brass gallery and new brass bulb holder.  The electric cable is not included, but available separately in our ebay store, along with period style porcelain ceiling roses.

We search antiques fairs and shops in France to source these and similar shades.  It's hard to date them exactly, but we think they were probably produced between the 1930s to 1950s.  We think they would look absolutely beautiful in just about any room, and also in a shop or café.  

In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks but please note that minor imperfections are inevitable with items of this age and which have been manufactured in small batches with a lot of hand finishing.  

Measures approx. 27cm diameter x 7.5cm max height.  Bulbholder is bayonet fitting.  Electric flex and bulb are not included - this listing is for the shade, the brass gallery and the bulbholder.
