Vintage French folded opaline milk glass light shade pale pink + brass fittings

A very beautiful original vintage French opaline glass ceiling light shade in a folded fabric shape.  Pale pink glass is fused on to white opaline milk glass beneath, and the shade probably dates from the 1950s.  We have completed it with an antiqued brass gallery and new brass bulb holder.  Electric cable is available separately in our ebay store, along with vintage style porcelain ceiling roses which complement these old pendant lights perfectly.

We search antiques fairs and shops in France to source these and similar shades.  They would have been largely hand made by draping molten glass over a mould.  We think they would look absolutely beautiful in just about any room, and also in a shop or café.  

In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks but please note that minor imperfections are inevitable with items of this age and which have been manufactured in small batches with a lot of hand finishing.  

Measures approx. 27cm diameter x 10cm max height.  Bulbholder is B22 bayonet fitting.  Electric flex and bulb are not included - this listing is for the shade, the brass gallery and the bulbholder.
